Deviance can be defined as a state of being that goes against the morals and standards of a society that can be deemed as, not lawful, but bad. Deviance I feel is so widespread that so many things people do now are and can be deemed as deviant. I think that social media creates an outlet that lets people within a workplace see how people spend their free time as well as talking about their political preferences and anything else. With this also begs the issue of people posting provocative photos or showing who they really are as a person to the whole internet and this can be viewed by the employers and employees as well in most cases. With technology being at the free will and in the hands of the employees this leaves them to be able to access any of the information at any time and do whatever they want to with it. Something huge is that these same employees can stop working whenever they want to/ delete all of the work they have done for the company at any point before they are fired or leave the job and without the fine print being read within ones contract, this can be used against the company and the employee can be set free with no charges being on them. There has been instances where some people work in very protected fields with more knowledge on technology than they are qualified for and after leaving they know the ins and outs of the company and how to reach any portion of it that they want because they have so much prior knowledge. There has been know workers that work within a company and on the outside they have someone who is able to access and breech that information and they create a team that is able to essentially take down large portions of a company because they have found ways to access enough information to hold it against them.
