Some ways that you can tell if a computer is safe for use is by seeing if it is protected in any sort of way whether its through face ID, password, fingerprint or even an ID. These type of computers aren’t always safe but with this it has an extra mode of protection against whomever wants access to the information within it. You can look at the firewall of the device and see if it has been compromised or if it is all intact. Most companies create firewalls for their devices to protect their consumers but these aren’t the best and most protected firewalls that are offered. One can see if whenever they open up the browser if it has popups constantly that are trying to redirect the user because of something “urgent” that needs their attention. We can also see if we have anything on it that is constantly tracking our every move. 3 ways that computers have made the world safer would be that we aren’t only working off of paper documents and we are able to better file information within safe databases, we can google nearly any person and find any criminal record on someone in seconds, and we are able to meet and communicate with people digitally before ever even seeing them in person. 3 ways it makes the world less safe would be that on the contrary to my previous statement, we find ourselves being faced with people that we have never met and they can pose as any person they want to be and hide behind that forever without no one knowing, we are so much more vulnerable to hackers and people whom want to harm us, and we store so many photos and information that if anything crashes we lose it all because we put so much trust into our computers and technology.
