My name is Raphael Olfato.  I am a freshman here at Old Dominion University graduating in 2020.  My hobbies involve playing golf and powerlifting.  I definitely play a lot of golf and lift weights to relieve stress from college.  I selected my major to be Mechanical Engineering and so far it has not changed.  I was heavily influenced by my father who studied in Electrical Engineering before he came her toe the United States.  My transition into college was a little tough considering that my semester was full of studying and sleepless nights doing homework.  However, I wasn’t too overwhelming,  I managed to adjust and accept the sacrifices I have to make.  Furthermore, my goal within these four years is to make sure I accomplish my goals and become successful.  As a result I want to use my hard work to pay back my parents for everything they’ve done to get me a college education.
