Course Overview
This course taught me how cryptography works and how it protects digital data. I learned the math behind encryption and how tools like AES, DES, hash functions, and digital signatures are used in real situations. We covered both symmetric and asymmetric encryption, and how they apply to things like secure communication and data protection.
By the end of the course, I understood how to choose the right cryptographic method and apply it to real security problems. It was hands-on and helped me build useful skills for working in cybersecurity. This knowledge also helps me in my current work, especially when reviewing security controls or understanding PKI Management.
