Others you will need to enable to download onto your device. Along with this you want to make sure your computer is up to date so if there is a software update needed it is important to update it because there is most likely security updates with them. You can also buy an extra program/software for your computer that will detect any suspicious activity or viruses. Some examples of these are Norton and McAfee. Usually you will need to pay for these services and again, it is important to have them up to date. Another thing you can do is make sure you are doing everything you can to protect your information. This simple task can be started by ensuring you have strong passwords for everything on your computer and it is better if they are all different and are updated frequently. Along with this, it would be smart to enable two factor authentification if possible or some soft of recovery method in case you are locked out of any account. When leaving your computer in a public place or arounf other people it important to log out of everything so your imformation is protected. You can also use public/private keys depending on what you use your computer for for an extra layer of protection and you could also encrypt your device or certain information. Another important thing to keeping your computer safe is something that I’m sure everyone has done at least once, using public wifi. Places make it so easy and convenient to connect to their free wifi but this comes with risks and could allow hackers to hack into your device or monitor what you are doing. If you have to use public wifi it is recommended to use a VPN to protect your computer and your browsing history. This is simple enough to enable and disable when you are finished.
