Honors Enrichment Program

My involvement in MSJC’s Honors Enrichment Program began in 2001 when I, as a student, joined the program to help increase my chances to transfer–and it worked! I was accepted into UCLA without conditions, and I believe this program contributed to that success.

After completing my MA and returning to MSJC as an instructor, I immediately got involved with this program that gave so much to me. Since then I have served on the Honors committee and Honors Curriculum Subcommittee, facilitated three honors seminars, acted as a faculty mentor (and learner) at the Honors Transfer Council of California Conference at UCI, and presented at the Honors affiliated Western Science Center Lecture Series.
