Journal Summary Three

Journal Summary Three – REFLECTION (five points)– this particular text should serve to summarize your observations concerning writing progress made over the course of this class and the role of the ePortfolio. The text may be written as a single paragraph or an essay and should be between 300 and 500 words. If written as a single paragraph, the topic sentence should serve to provide the reader with a glimpse of what will follow in the paragraph. If you elect to write an essay, simply follow the standard format we have used throughout the course.

My observations in the writing process during the course of Writing for College Success and the ePortfolio have been massive.  I have learned about my writing style, others writing style, how to improve it, and basic grammar that I needed to be refreshed on. I am now more aware of using “you” in sentences and informal statements. I have learned a lot about more than just writing styles but also research styles, footstools, etc by reading the book. The ePortfolio has taught me how to write a small response on a very brief, vague prompt. I believe I have grown from the ePortfolio, because not only have I been scored well, but it becomes easier and easier to complete the assignments.
