Skills

For my skills, I would like to highlight two hard skills and two soft skills: Programming, specifically C++ and Python, and Office tools, referring to tools like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. The two soft skills I would like to highlight are communication and adaptability. I chose these two as, over the years, I have been able to work on my communication skills through different presentations and networking. I also work as a dispatcher for a food delivery service and have to converse with not only customers but also restaurants and my coworkers as well. I chose adaptability since I did not begin my journey pursuing Cybersecurity. I began my time at ODU originally pursuing a B.S. in civil engineering, and over time switched over and learned how to apply my past experiences to help me throughout the past two years as I changed course and began to pursue Cybersecurity.
