I have always known I was passionate about teaching and leading others. It’s a passion that started when I was a little girl playing teacher. Since my junior year in high school, I have worked with students of all ages in all sorts of settings. My first job working with students involved teaching a group of middle schoolers about the importance of working together. I taught a group of third graders about the importance of physical fitness. As a lead teacher, I helped lead a class of two-year-olds.

After finishing my degree in Leadership at ODU, I plan to continue my education and obtain a teaching license. I am passionate about teaching and leading others, and I believe that my experience working with students of all ages has prepared me for a successful career as an educator.
