The score I got for the social media disorder test was a 1 out of 9, so that means I’m not a “disordered social media user”. What I think about the items that are in the scale is that they’re interesting. Some people are really attached to social media that they would put important things second just so they can put most of their time towards social media because it influences them. This also shows how big of impact social media has made on people in today’s society, and there are also so times where I’m social media for long periods of time. Being so implemented into social media can cause a danger for an individual and other people around that individual because they can be vulnerable to being hacked. The reason that I think they’re are different patterns found across the world because it depends how people spend their time on social media. There are those people who post a lot of things to social media for the whole world to see even though there can be that one person that’s viewing that individual’s account trying to steal their information like from the video. Understanding these different patterns can lead to understanding why some people are obsessed with social media.
