With the NICE Workforce Framework, there are a couple of areas that I would focus my career on.  One of the areas that I would like to focus on the most would be the “Protect and Defend” area, the reason for this would be that I would like to be able to protect important information. Being able to defend it from incoming invaders keeps the information secured and out of the hands of cyber attackers trying to steal the data for harmful purposes. Also, when a crisis arises or any potential threats happen, I can be there to help stop and keep the information safe and investigate the causes of certain attacks. Another area that would be interesting to focus my career on would be the “Investigate” area. This would be another good option to focus on because I would be able to gather and analyze digital evidence to understand how cybercrimes are performed. With this area, it would be interesting to be able to conduct interviews and interrogations on people and develop plans to investigate a crime, violation, or suspicious activity with computers.

For the less appealing area, I would say that the “Oversee and Govern” area wouldn’t be an area that I would focus my career on. I wouldn’t want to focus my career on this because I feel like it would be a big responsibility to be able to oversee and manage everyone’s work and everything in general, but it would be cool to be able to lead and oversee other people because that means your trustworthy and up to the task. One of the last areas that appeal the least to me would be the “Operate and Maintain” area I feel like this would be the less appealing to me because you must make sure that you’re providing maintenance and training in response to customers when they need help which is very important but wouldn’t be something I would like to focus on. In maintenance, you must make sure that everything is right and up to date, also must make sure that everything is installed as well, and I would be anxious about messing something up. Being in maintenance requires a lot of responsibility as well in making sure everything is operating properly.
