The research involved in writing the weekly posts and semi-monthly essays enabled me to have confidence when writing my first grant this semester. Multiple of the topics especially at the end of the semester directly relate to my research project on filopodia. It was interesting getting to see the proteins I was investigating being explained in the latest lecture. This class also enabled me to expand and fill out the gaps in my knowledge from anatomy. Overall really enjoyed this class and I am going to miss biology classes while I finish my biochemistry degree.
