Biography
Neeraj Singh is a PhD Candidate in the Engineering Management and Systems Engineering Department at Old Dominion University. His education includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BE), a Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM), a Master Certificate in Project Management (MCPM), a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He holds professional certifications including Certified MuleSoft Developer (Mule 4), AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Product Owner (CPO).
Mr. Singh applies systems engineering principles and enterprise architecture frameworks to conduct research and development on complex, high-availability cloud-native ecosystems. His research and technical focus centers on Microservices & Serverless Computing, API Security & Identity Management (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT), Data Interoperability (LIMRA LDEx), and DevSecOps & Automation. His recent work investigates hybrid API strategies utilizing AWS Cloud-Native services (Lambda, EventBridge) alongside enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Singh serves as a Senior API Architect specializing in legacy system modernization within highly regulated sectors. He currently serves as Technical Lead at ComPsych Inc., orchestrating enterprise integrations and modernizing Java/Spring Boot APIs into Mule 4.x flows. Previously, he worked as a Senior Consultant at Blue Cross Blue Shield (FEPOC), engineering cloud-native migrations to AWS, and as Lead Developer for the U.S. Department of Labor, managing full-lifecycle federal employment service APIs.
