Everything we do revolves around the cyber world and cybersecurity! For example Old Dominion University is a huge part of my life. I spend multiple hours a week on campus and other hours visiting ODU canvas via my laptop. The cybersecurity team at ODU works hard to make sure our data stays safe and we have a safe learning environment. All educational systems around the world revolve around cybersecurity! All things are related to one another through relativism. Technology is constantly advancing, and unfortunately this means crime is becoming more advanced as well. The digital age is an exciting place but it can also be dangerous, this is where cybersecurity gets tied in. Our social lives in our professional world and personal world count on cybersecurity to keep us safe. Without cybersecurity we would not be able to safely have online courses available, social media, and any other aspect of the digital world. Humans rely on cybersecurity as well in the healthcare industry. Cybersecurity keeps hospitals, health organizations like the Veterans Affairs, and laboratories safe. The community relies on cybersecurity experts to keep healthcare establishments up and running so we can all live happy and healthy lives.
