About Me!

My name is Lashawn DeLone, and I am a Biology major at Old Dominion University. My interest in biology comes from my love for nature, animals, and understanding how living systems work. Growing up in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana gave me an appreciation for the outdoors and sparked my interest in ecology, conservation, and the natural world.

Before continuing my education, I served in the United States Navy, where I work on jet engines. That experience helped me develop discipline, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, which I continue to apply to my academic work.

My goal is to keep building my knowledge and experience in biology through coursework, research, and hands-on-learning opportunities. I hope to use what I learn to make a positive impact in science, education, and conservation.
