Welcome Fellow Readers, I will be answering the following question for entry # 10. The question is how do engineers make cyber networks safer? Engineers make cyber networks and are in constant portfolio on how they can make safer networks and finding ways to improve them, so they are not easy to breach. Cyber networks are extremely valuable and important because, for the bad hackers out there trying to take classified information it would make it way harder for them to access information if they are not familiar with the new software systems. Even though updating a software may keep them at bay for a while, and are engineers continue to update the cyber networks so they can continue to patch up any weak spots that they could find in the system breach able to the bad hackers. The safer the network the safer everyone can be and or move around when it comes to the cyber network. Engineers have a certain set of skills to make their cyber networks safer. Some of the steps that the engineers can take to accomplish on making things safer in the cyber networks could be monitoring networks and systems for data breaches. The engineers put in place programs that were made to help detect when a breach was either to occur and or take place. Engineers also put in implemented or put in place security software, these are to help stop breaches from causing a little to a lot of harm to a network. Monitoring networks and systems are “a critical IT process where all networking components like routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and VMs are monitored for fault and performance and evaluated continuously to maintain and optimize their availability.” Cyber-attacks back then compared to now are evolving in many ways so they are trying to do all that they can to put a stop to it and put a decrease to the cyber attacks.
