AASL(2018) states the following for the school librarian, “The implementation of a successful school library program requires the collaborative development of the program mission, strategic plan, and policies…the program budget, and the physical and virtual spaces.” The implementation of a STEM lab was the focus of my project idea for our school library. After writing the proposal and budget for the STEM lab, the idea was presented in a PowerPoint presentation to a hypothetical stakeholders’ group.
