Hello! My name is Cayden Bass-Hensley, and I am a rising junior at Old Dominion University, pursuing a degree in cybersecurity with an aspiring minor in communications. My academic journey is rooted in curiosity, resilience, and a passion for protecting digital spaces—values that have been shaped by my unique background and experiences.

I spent a significant portion of my childhood on the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Kitts, a tight-knit community of 50,000 residents. Growing up in such a vibrant and close community taught me the importance of collaboration, resourcefulness, and giving back. After completing my primary education there, I embarked on a bold new chapter by relocating to the United States, where I embraced new opportunities and challenges.

My high school years at Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School were a time of growth and achievement. I graduated magna cum laude, balancing academic excellence with athletic commitment, and received recognition for my leadership and contributions to school sports. These formative experiences not only strengthened my work ethic but also instilled a sense of purpose and determination that continues to guide me today.
