This was an assignment in my Digital Forensics Class where I was asked to design my own forensics lab with the proper equipment, and the proper security features to ensure the security of all evidence that enters.

I designed my lab uniquely with the intent of each room having a different level of authorization required. The Hallway can be accessed without an RFID card, the deliberation room is not as high security because no physical evidence enters the room. However, the deliberation room does require an RFID card and only has one camera. The rest of my lab is under heavy surveillance with several cameras in each of the two rooms. The room in which all the evidence is processed is essentially a level two authorization and all digital forensic analysist can access while the room where all evidence is held is only accessible by lead/managing forensic analysis.
