The building I am writing about is the ODU Student Recreation Center. I chose this facility because, I love to work out, and spend in at least 4 days in the gym since I have gotten to Old Dominion. It is located in the back of the Quad, near France and England House. When you go to the “SRC”, you should expect plenty of machines, activities, or classes to get a workout in. Whether it is cardio, swimming, basketball, weight lifting, Zumba, you name it they should have it. The connection between the “SRC” and ODU is it is owned and ran by Old Dominion University. Which includes students from Old Dominion are employed to work there and take care of the facility. Anyone who is looking to stay in shape, lose weight, gain some muscle, and feel good would be very interested in taking advantage of this great facility. If you are a student at Old Dominion University, then there is no fee to join, it comes with the tuition you pay to attend ODU. The hours of operation of the Student Recreation Center Monday-Thursday 6:00 am-12:00 am, Friday 6:00 am-11:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am-9:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am-12:00 am. I will definitely return to this facility, it is a state of the art building, with various opportunities to better oneself, mentally and physically. The only suggestion I have for this for more classes of various types of exercises should be offered.
