My name is Ashawne Edwards. I'm the oldest of three boys and one girl. For the first five years of my life, I lived I Grenada, an island in the Caribbean. I moved to America a few months before my sixth birthday. At first, living here was in a way difficult, mainly because I would constantly get in trouble at school. Even so, I eventually got my act together and became a straight-A, B student. Yes, my childhood wasn't the best but it turned me into who I am today. Therefore, I won't change a thing about it.

I love the outdoors. I'm happy being outside, as long as I am doing something. To be honest, I don't know if it's the fresh air or the plants and animals that make me like being outside so much. all I know is that I would much rather be outside mowing the lawn than inside watching television. When im outside I mainly like to walk around the neighborhood or explore the small forest behind my house. Even though there's not much to see when I'm walking around, it's still a great way for me to relax and think about life.
