While one deals with cyberspace systems, the other handles real world systems. However, this assumption is extremely wrong. These two systems go hand in hand in everyday life, and without one, the other would fail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our current day and age, the cyberspace continues to expand every millisecond. Data is moved around and created, with roughly 2.5 quintillion bytes of data being created every day. Long story short, it&#8217;s impossible to keep up with the ever-expanding space we&#8217;ve created outside of our own world. Because of this, security systems that are created only stay relevant for a short period of time. Cyber networks can always be protected, and systems can always be updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Engineers are able to create and improve cyber networks in order to keep them safe, but also ensure their efficiency. One example of how engineers make cyber networks safe are by offering a branch of engineering that primarily focuses on the security of networking systems. Security engineering&#8217;s are a branch of engineering that focuses on incorporating security controls into an information system. They are responsible for testing and screening security software to ensure that they are safe from breaches and instructions. They are also capable of resolving cases of security threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, engineers are able to view systems as a whole. Not only do they look at systems in their past and current state, but they also account for future threats and possibilities. They can be seen as individuals who are able to account for all possibilities, while also constantly ensuring the safety of the systems. And when things come down to it, they have the ability to evaluate threats, protect against them, and recover from them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reason engineers are crucial to the cyber world, and the reason they&#8217;re able to keep networks safe, is because they have the proper thought process. They are able to literally think outside of the box and offer alternatives.
