It also explores how AI-powered tools and government policies can assist victims in surviving. The study published in the International Journal of Cyber Criminology explores the interplay of human behavior, policing, and the use of technology in response to such crimes.

Relation to Social Science Principles

This study is linked to three important social science principles. Relativism reveals how social systems, such as law or technology, influence the online act (Bhattacherjee, 2012). The study’s data-driven approach to empiricism is evident in how it uses surveys and interviews to measure the impact of cyber-victimization. Cyberbullying is an example of an action that always results in bad feelings. This highlights predictability in human behavior and illustrates determinism.

Research Questions and Hypotheses

The study investigates:

How does cyber-victimization affect human emotions such as frustration and anger?

Are AI and e-governance Feasible solutions to cope with cyberbullying?

The authors expect that cyber-victimization adds negative emotions while AI-driven solutions and government policies may serve as solutions to help citizens.

Research Methods and Data Analysis

The authors employed a mixed-methods approach, utilizing surveys to capture statistical insights and interviews to gather more detailed personal experiences. Statistical analysis indicated correlations between cyberbullying and emotional distress, while thematic analysis of individual interviews unveiled common coping mechanisms.

Connection to Course Concepts

This study explores cybersecurity as an interdisciplinary problem through the lenses of psychology, policy, and technology. It also discusses ethical responsibilities within the field of technology and reveals challenges within the field of cybersecurity research with a specific focus on survey methodologies.

Impact on Marginalized Groups

The study underscores that users who are poor, and young, are more likely to become cyber victims because they lack access to cyber security literacy and resource support. It calls for inclusive AI protections and policies that will help guide these vulnerable populations.

Contributions to Society

This study enhances understanding of potential psychological support for cyber victims as well as informs AI-driven interventions that can aid policymakers and tech developers in designing safer online environments.

Conclusion

The analysis enhances understanding of the psychological consequences of cyber-victimization and the effectiveness of AI and policy-based interventions in apps. Using psychology, criminology, and cybersecurity principles, the research emphasizes the need for a multi-disciplinary approach to deal with cyberbullying. It also emphasizes the importance of digital policies that are ethical and inclusive to make sure that systems of support are coverings available to everyone, particularly minorities. As there are developments in the field of simulation-based hacker protection, we should continue to advance in research where AI can improve protections across the cyber security domain while advocating further education for individuals about how to protect themselves against cyber threats. Understanding cyber-victimization not only assists in better the support provided to victims but also leads to safer and more responsible digital environments.

References: APA citation.

Aliane, N., & Mirzaliev, S.
