Advice Needed for Choosing a Major

The main key for choosing a major is choosing something you will be interested in. All majors are good majors but you have to find the one that best fits you. Your freshman year you wont be declaring your major right off the back. You will take your general education classes and then you will begin to take the classes needed for your major. One you have declared your major your advisor is really helpful when sending you on the right path. After you get interested in your major you will begin to declare your minor. It is best that you tie your major and your minor together. For example when being a Criminal Justice major you may think about being a Psychology minor. Remember to work towards your goals and keep close contact with your advisor.
