Students Transiting from High School to College
Students transiting from high school may have a hard time adapting because their high school did not prepare them for college. Most students depend on their teachers to do the work for them, instead of students being independent and doing the work on their own. For example, teachers could teach students how to develop independent habits; such as quizzing themselves to see their strengths and weakness. In high school if you have questions the teacher wont necessarily make you work them out yourself they will just give you the answers. In college you are expected to do the work on your own and if you really need help then you will ask the professor. During your transition you should learn to be independent and work hard.
