The two economic theories that relate to the letter would be the Laissez-fare economic theory because it states that the government should not interfere with the economy except to protect an individual’s inalienable rights which in this case applies due to the leaked customer information. The second theory is the Marxian theory which states that those with power take advantage of those without which in this case the people who have the ability to obtain their information through illegal activity are taking advantage of their knowledge and using it to take advantage of vulnerable parties. The two social sciences I would align with this particular letter would be determinism which states behavior is caused or influenced by preceding events.
