To start off I am fairly new to the cybersecurity world this is my first semester as I have just recently switched my major to pursue a Bachelor of Science in cybersecurity. I am currently still open to everything as I am only scratching the surface of how broad the cybersecurity world is. However, as I continue to learn and become more familiar with the field I feel as if I will be able to decide with more confidence. Although I do not know what final road I will end on based on my review of the NICE workforce I believe that I would mostly want to focus on the analyze or securely provision categories. I chose the analytical category because the threat analyst career I feel is something I would want to pursue. Along with that, I chose the securely provisional section due to a personal event that occurred to me where my billing information was hacked at a gas station and my credit card was charged multiple times, thankfully my bank discovered and flagged the payment. The hacker only obtained one cent before my account was frozen, but continued charging small payments nonstop for multiple days even though none of the payments were going through. Now on the other hand, which category I could least likely see myself gravitating toward would be operate and maintain. Due to the nature of the jobs within the section, I feel as if I would not be completely interested based on my initial impression.
