Based on the video Cybersecurity analyst is a very broad entry-level job that can entail you doing many different things based on the company. You are usually the first line of defense and can be monitoring the network or even responding to incidents. A more advanced position would be identifying flaws but for the most part, it will entail a basic helpdesk to respond to different attacks, provide guidance and training for users, and plenty of paperwork. You can also work almost anywhere with it being in high demand and everyone needing a cyber security analyst even overseas. Salary will depend on location though with New York, Dallas, and Washington D.C being some front runners for higher starting salaries. There is also not a set path and many ways you can get into the field from gaining certifications to even networking and a degree is not necessarily needed. With its high amount of demand and low competition, it is really one of the better job opportunities.
