Andriy Slynchuk described eleven things internet users do that may be illegal and the five that I believe are the most serious would be sharing passwords, addresses, or photos of others, bullying, and trolling, faking your identity online, collecting information about children, and illegal searches on the internet. Starting with the sharing of passwords, addresses, and or photos of others I believe this is one of the more serious due to the fact that you have no idea what that information will be used for. Someone may have the intention of impersonating or even stealing from the individual you supplied the information. It is a huge safety risk and an exploit of someone’s privacy if they do not give permission. Next would be bullying and trolling because you never know what someone else is going through and what harm is being done when you make fun of someone. The emotional impact that bullying carries is huge and can affect a person’s life in many negative ways. Also faking your identity online I saw as a red flag due to the fact that if something is for example agr restricted and you are lying about your age you are somewhere you should not be and can cause a lot of problems being exposed to somethings at a young age. Another serious violation I would say is collecting information about children. This can be very dangerous especially when you add in the fact that anyone could be looking and obtaining this information and it is not a safe place for children to be mixed up with strangers over the internet. Lastly, illegal online searches would be serious because it is illegal for a reason. If there is something you should not be doing maybe you should not be doing it.
