Technology has changed the world in many ways some positive some negative. Things like healthcare, communication, transportation, and even shopping have all been affected in some way by the evolution of technology. Computers are something that has continued to improve over time as a result as well. There are many doors that have been opened with the advancement of the computer over the years one being communication. Communication is huge and has taken leaps from emails to direct messaging to even live chatting. With how easy it is to communicate nowadays there are many pros aligned with it like the speed of communication alone being huge and now with Zoom you can hold meetings with not only family and friends, but schools and universities have even taken advantage of this by holding classes and meetings as well some with a few people some with hundreds. Along with any pro though there lies a con and in this case it comes with things like cyberbullying and cyber attacks like phishing attacks. Cyberbullying can take place any place anywhere and anytime with how advanced communication has become and people take advantage of it. Then there are phishing attacks which can consist of things like spear and clone phishing to list some. Spear phishing, one of the more common attacks, usually consists of some type of email or electronic communication where someone is targeting a person to try and uncover some type of information like maybe billing information and clone phishing is when emails are duplicated and replacing links inside them in an attempt to obtain access to your personal information that way. Another thing that computers have made safer is shopping. With everything being easily accessible from your home it limits your contact with people and motor vehicles where anything could happen from the spreading of diseases to an accident. Although this was made a lot easier and accessible it also made people vulnerable to billing and other information to be obtained thou hacks and some of the phishing attacks listed above.
