A second semester composition course focused on textual analysis, identifying and avoiding fallacies in argument, developing contextual literacy, and using more sophisticated writing and research strategies<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Honors Seminar<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A seminar that exclusively serves honors students and covers broad topics to be explored by a variety of disciplines. My previous honors seminars have focused on California: Myth vs. Reality (2016), Punishment and Reward (2018), and Censorship (2020).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

An accelerated pre-transfer level course that combines reading instruction and the fundamentals of academic writing, including paragraphing, focusing a thesis, and integrating evidence<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
