These technologies take many forms such as personal computers, smart phones, internet technologies, as well as AI and robotics. In fact, the list is growing constantly and new forms of these technologies are working their way into every aspect of daily life. They all have some form of computation at their core and human users interface with them mostly through applications and other software operating systems.\u00a0There are some ethical issues that are closely connected to digital technology, such as\u00a0<\/a>t<strong>rust, knowledge, privacy, a<\/strong>nd individual autonomy. These issues, however, take on a heightened concern when the technologies in question are financed through the profit-motive. Technology ethics is\u00a0the application of ethical thinking to the practical concerns of technology. The reason technology ethics is growing in prominence is that new technologies give us more power to act, which means that we have to make choices we didn&#8217;t have to make before. The use of information technology should be based on integrity, trust, responsibility, and excellence because ethics create those conditions. As well as protecting privacy and confidentiality,\u00a0ethical behavior prevents conflicts and dishonesty by preventing unauthorized access to computer networks in the world of technology. I agree with the writer because looking from the perspective in my own life I realize that ethics is very important when it comes to our daily lives and that needs to be practice in order for others to place their trust and in us and vise versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Work Cited<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Collins, J.
