Hi my name is Niviea and I am a Cybersecurity student at Old Dominion University. I graduated from Oscar Smith High School in June 2026 with an Advanced Diploma. I am now continuing my education at ODU and working towards a career in Cybersecurity.

I chose cybersecurity because i’m interested in technology and learning how to protect information and computer systems. I also enjoy solving problems and learning new things. as I continue in the Cybersecurity program I want to learn about different areas of Cybersecurity and find the area that interests me the most.

My classes at Old Dominion University are helping me build my knowledge and skills in cybersecurity. I am learning about cybersecurity, technology, communication and knowing the importance of protecting information. I plan to use what I learn in college to prepare for future internships and jobs in the cybersecurity field.

I want to improve my professional skills while I am in college. I am a fast learner, organized, and able to communicate and work well with others. I know that cybersecurity is a field where I will need to keep learning because technology is always changing.

My goal is to graduate from Old dominion University and start a career in cybersecurity. Throughout college I plan to gain more knowledge, build my skills, and gain experience that will help me reach my career goals. This ePortfolio will show my progress and the work I complete throughout my course.
