Sports communication is rapidly evolving, there’s always new things to learn and teach others. In own my experience, this virtual sport communication class has taught me a ton from a present perspective. Whether it was watch Proffesor O’Hallarn’s online energetic videos relating to instruction in the modules, or learning new and interesting things everyday about my peers. The value that I take from all of the things we accomplished in this semester is that I received an experience of how it’s like to work with a group of people in a team setting. For example, the weekly journal peer reviews and the final cap stone project, in both instances I was able to learn new ways of thinking and get advice of things that I could improve my level of work. Material I’m confident in that will be valuable to me is the different types of projects within each module. My favorite project, a presentation I created that reviewed the NFL’s no-look pass is one that instantly comes to mind. Again, this helps me in more ways than not because it’s ultimately preparing me for the next level in professional communication field. In a future outlook, I’m excited because at some point I understand that everything I learn will payoff. Through the skills I learned and the detailed information about the aspects of sports communication, that itself will be beneficial for me forever.
