Hi, my name is Maverick Stallings, and I’m currently studying Leadership. I’ve always had a strong passion for baseball. I’ve played it my whole life, and I still currently play at Old Dominion. Being around the game for so long is a big reason why I enjoy sports so much. It’s not just something I watch, it’s something I’ve been a part of for years, and that’s what makes it important to me.

In the future, I want to either play professionally or go into coaching at the college level. I like the idea of staying involved in the game and helping players improve while also being part of a team environment. Coaching is something that interests me because it’s about leadership, communication, and helping others grow. At the same time, playing professionally is also a goal because I’ve put so much time into the game and want to see how far I can take it. I love the game so much and just can’t see myself not being involved in baseball for my career.

For this blog, I used WordPress to set everything up. It was pretty simple to create, and I liked being able to customize it a little to make it feel like my own. My goal for this blog is to have a place where I can share my thoughts on sports, especially baseball, and talk about different topics like big moments, players, and things going on in sports today.

I also included a photo of myself so people know who is behind the blog. Overall, I want this to show my passion for baseball and also help me get better at communicating my ideas over time.
