Some of the social themes that arise in this presentation was the cost of living. If someone would get the job as a cybersecurity analyst there are different cities where cost of living can be cheaper like Atlanta, GA, or Dallas, Texas, also your salary depends on where you live as well. Another social theme I heard her talked about was the competition, she states that if you work in a state where they have Ivy league schools you may be competing with smart people in that career field. Since you competing with people with Ivy league education you wouldn’t be able to ask for increase in money as much whereas if you lived in a state with lesser Ivy league schools you can ask for an increase in salary. Something I think that is a social theme maybe background checks because there a ton of people who had felonies, DUI’s, or been to jail.
