My major is Cyber security. With my major I have to complete many required classes to help me get a better understanding of what cyber security is and what all It has to offer to me in the future. Those classes are introduction to criminology, cybersecurity, technology, and society, and many other classes that has to do with cyber security.

In my future I plan on either doing cyber coding and cyber forensics. I have not come to a complete decision but if I do pick cyber coding it will give me a better understanding of the technical sides of the internet and how others react to data that is posted on the internet. If I do cyber forensics it will give me an understanding of society and how they are online and what it truly means.

Since it is now 2021, where almost everything involves the internet cyber security is a huge demand. This demand is needed because of all of the scams, political threats, phishing, and other types of attacks. To resolve those threats, you will need a better understanding of technology as a whole. Now that COVID-19 is among us and most people are working from home using computer it gives more people the opportunity to click on ads and either accidently get virus or click on scam emails that they think are from their bosses or any third party. Using the skills, I receive from taking this cyber security technology class I will be able to void the threats and possible find a way to help others not attract or mistake a threat as a link that is acceptable.
