Recently on March 5th, I attended an Old Dominion university Lacrosse game. The monarchs played the Howard Bison. Throughout the game the announcer for our game on ESPN+ made it known that Howard has not beaten a Division One team in several years. The last time the team had a winning season was 2013 compared to the Monarchs whose last winning season was just 2024. By halftime, the score was 12-3 with the Monarchs in the lead. While the monarchs were in the lead the bisons never lost their momentum. Both teams are strong despite one record. The final score of the game was 20-4.
