How should we approach the development of cyber-policy and -infrastructure given the “short arm” of predictive knowledge?

I believe that all things should be done with precaution and taken care of proactively to ensure the fallback safety that you provided in case things went bad. The idea of “short arm” of predictive knowledge does not offer anything but worried brows as things change so quickly its better to be prepared than under prepared. Cyber technology and personal devices are developing at a fast rate, all to see who can be the fastest and the strongest and the best looking. With these rapid advancements keeping up in the security department in the cyber world becomes a difficult task to do. In the cyber world, the benefit of proactive security and cyber policy could prove to be beneficial by attacking threats head on at the rot of the issue instead of waiting around for something to come to us. While the resources provided for this may come at a bigger cost, the safety and reliability you’re providing save those who use that network. Understanding that the technology that is needed to be used to develop and work on the strength of these cyber policies being put in place will soon be replaced and used elsewhere is all a part of the cycle in which all things evolve and grow. The cyber criminal’s arent going to wait so why should we?
