Free Write: Industrial cyber security is defined as critial infrastrucure that help regulate every day utilities to the people such as gas, oil, power, water, transportation, manufacturing and more.  These industries were once never thought of to be so crucial but with the ever improving technology of the world, things have changed and these systems have become more vulnerable to attacks being connected via some network.  In todays world these systems are crucial, and sought after by cyber criminals and attackers to deal heavy damage to a target.  A cyber security breach on a company could spell certain disaster as many individuals livelyhoods reside in that company, and a breach could be devastating as companies could cost lives, cause environmental disasters, attract fines and lawsuits from individuals or partners, lose the product, or even close down completely.  For organizations and companies such as oil and gas who are necessary infrastucture, an attack on such could spell disaster not only for the infrastructure it serves but also for the environment as well.  Some organizations who have less critical infrastructure are much less at risk for large scale attacks, but are still sought after nonetheless.  Such things as using a an industrial PC for personal purposes could put entire companies an business at risk for attack or exposure.  This could lead to a potential shutdowns, and in some cases these attacks are well planned and are designed to deal with specific precautions and allow access to te network itself.  Depending on the infrastructure the company has, their risks vary greatly.
