Cybersecurity risks for all countries are different ranging from their enemies and allies, future risk, the country’s impact on the world, and their global rankings for their technological advancements, to even their ideals and daily operations. The United States has a few enemies and others who oppose their ideas as well that are cause for risks in our network. The largest cyber threat for the United States is mobile phones as we have more mobile infections than computer infections. The United States also suffers heavily from attacks that originate within its own borders as well. Compared to a country like France, we rank lower than them in our security. France is known to be the most all-around overall cyber-secure networks in the world and face very minimal risks compared to countries such as Algeria which is known as the least overall cyber-secure country suffers from about 55% of devices are infected with some sort of malware, split 23% of devices being mobile and 32% being computers. Algeria is known as one of the most dangerous places for digital life, as a majority of their attacks come from the outside. I believe that this is the case due to poor government infrastructure and their inability to have a secure network for their country due to internal affairs. They lack both legal and technical frameworks and recommended when you travel in or through that you take extra precaution. Unlike the United States, the lack of this framework has substantially hurt the country’s cyber networks and their ability to regain after something of this nature is made much more difficult. The United States is also a much more technologically advanced and developed country, and as a result of that, they have a larger supply of resources available to put into the industry allowing them to continue to be up to date with the latest trends and information.
