My major relates to cyber security technology as my major is cyber security. I plan to go into the financial field of cyber security as it is something that is much more unconventional in the field in my opinion. Whenever I mention cyber secutiy the first thing that people bring up is the military and government possibilities that it opens doors to. While it is something that I have considered as I am a person who enjoys travel and I feel this would be a good opportunity for me to expand and do so. I felt this options was slightly overpicked and wanted to be more adventurous with the career field I was choosing. The military and government routes i believe are very useful and will further provide a more secure future, but the atmosphere in which I would be Working doe not personally suite me. I also like how it is something that I have not previously been informed about, so it becomes much more interesting for me to learn about personally. I feel that it does not quite coorelate with the more technological side of the field. A long with my general interest I also enjoy math so accounting would be something I would fit right into the field. Lastly I am an adventurous and quick learner through experience and feel that this class would help roundmy knowledge about cybersecuity iand its applications in todays society.
