My name is Logan Eichel and I am originally from Southern California. I moved to Virginia over ten years ago and have been living in the Hampton Roads area ever since. As much as I miss the West Coast and the deserts, Virginia has some truly beautiful nature. One of my favorite hobbies is hiking through trails and looking at all the different plants. Some of my other hobbies include video games and building computers. I enjoy modding games and creating addons for them almost as much as I enjoy playing them, as programming is one of my other spare times. I have enjoyed building computers for many years and have built many gaming PCs for my friends and family. Recently, I built a home server running proxmox to be used for backups and media storage, as well as a VPN and media server host.
Below is one of my favorite builds that I did with friends from a bunch of scraps and an old HP chassis that we had to remove the HDD cage from to fit a graphics card. It may not have been pretty, but it ran, and sometimes that’s all you need.

Besides technology, I also enjoy biology and anatomy as well. That is why I have an associate’s degree in science. Originally, I planned to major in medical science but chose Cybersecurity as I love technology and needed a program that was fully online. I intended to work in research in this field, and am planning to become a researcher in the Cybersecurity field. I really enjoy how this field is constantly evolving and requires you to constantly be on the lookout for new techniques and information. I also enjoy that it is an interdisciplinary field requiring knowledge in many different areas to be competent.
