The internet has allowed a lot of malicious evil doers able to do as they please. The internet has also allowed us humans to access information instantly at our fingertips at any given moment twenty four seven. This being said, not only normal every day positive citizens can gain information at any moment, but it allows people with malicious actions and intents to access all this information. People can stalk others online via Facebook, twitter, Instagram, snapchat, etcetera within the comfort of their own homes. This causes many problems for example if someone were to post about how they are on vacation the evil threats could possibly break into the persons home or car and steal a lot of valuables. Posting online also sometimes tells people where you might be and this allows people that want to do harm an easy way to find where you are. There has also never been a platform like there is now to stalk and harass people like there has ever been before. There are people who lurk in the shadows of the internet and it is quite disgusting. Cyber technology has also allowed victims to be attacked and harassed at a rate never seen before. If someone is not knowledgeable about the dangers of the internet when not used properly and taken the correct safety measures, then they are at great risk of getting their information stolen, money stolen, valuables stolen, kidnapped, and even killed in some cases. The world is a very ugly place sometimes and there are a lot of evil people out there and as convenient cyber technology is for us it is as convenient for the evil people in the world. The worst part is most of the time the evil malicious people can hide behind a screen and remain anonymous and hidden in the shadows.
