This course was a struggle for me. It contained lots of complex information and I was ill-prepared for the amount of time I needed to allocate in order to do well. However, I learned quite a bit, and I am excited to use the knowledge I gained in my future course work. I’m hoping to do some research with gene expression and corals within the next year, and the DNA chapter was incredibly helpful in understanding how transcription and translation work. I may have to take this course again, because I am a terrible test-taker, but I am hopeful that everything I have learned will benefit me in my career moving forward.
