Compare cybersecurity risks in the U.S. and another country.

I chose to compare the cybersecurity risks in the U.S. and in France.

In the United States, computer infection rate is lower and more mobile phones are infected than in France. The United States is far more cooperative in joining forces to fight cybercrime than other nations yet there is more still room for improvement. It has some of the best technical knowledge out there that keeps the United States as one of the most secure countries against cybercrimes. It has one of the world’s strongest legal frameworks for stopping, examining, and taking legal action against cybercrime. The United States would have been the most secure if not for the large number of attacks for within the country’s borders.

France is the most cyber-secure country on the planet because of the remarkable effort in nearly all aspects of cybersecurity. A small percentage of mobile devices and computers are infected with malware. France makes up for this by its deficiencies with a strong legal framework and a well-equipped national organization that keeps people safe. The country is also an active member of the international cybercrime.

After examining both countries way of preventing cyber threats. Both are similar because they each have strong strategies to keep up to date with the latest cybercrimes threats. They both use their knowledge and experience in order to fight against cyberattacks. Both of them have their own ways of combating cybercrime and stopping important information from being taken. It was interesting that both countries are so similar and different at the same time.

My opinion on this is that I was surprised that France was the most secure country instead of the United States. I originally did not actually know the answer and just figured it was the United States because I lived there. Now that I have researched about how both the United States and France deal with cyber threats. I understand that there is more than one solution to these problems and different approaches to the solutions.
