There are definitely some links between criminal justice and cybercrime. Because technology does play a huge role in crime, because a significant amount of crime is linked to technology.  If someone commits an act of cybercrime, they are breaking the law and will be held responsible for their actions through the criminal justice system.  Criminologists use human factors in criminal justice within cybercrime. Another is the fact people who receive an education through criminal justice programs.

There are numerous ways that criminal justice and cybercrime are connected. One way is that criminologists could be called human factors as a way to explain human behavior. Criminologists converses human factors in criminal justice and within cybercrime.  Another way is the fact that people that received an education through criminal justice programs in college. They may possibly have enough training, skill, and knowledge to take on some of the softer careers within cybersecurity.  A massive part of cybercrime includes Digital Forensics. Digital Forensics is the investigations of electronic, cyber, computer, and other types of cybercrimes. It also offers another area where criminal justice and cybercrime intersect.  Since it was created by criminal justice professionals, criminal justice scholars played a critical role in Digital Forensics.

One of the biggest connections is that criminal justice recognizes the appropriate interventions and responses to cybercriminals. This is how criminologists see certain types of cybercrimes as white-collar crimes. White-collar crimes are committed by a person with social status and high respectability in their own profession.
