The Four I’m choosing are Criminology Majors, Business Majors, Mathematics majors, and Finance majors. Even though each major has its uniqueness all play into cybersecurity in a way. Criminology majors play a crucial role in cybersecurity by understanding the motives and behaviors of cybercriminals. Their expertise in criminal justice helps in locating potential threats, and identifying patterns of cybercrime. Next Business majors, they are essential for cybersecurity as they bridge the gap between technical aspects and organizational goals. They bring the best in risk management and strategic planning. Their understanding of business processes helps create a balance between security and operational efficiency. Thirdly Mathematics majors, with all the algorithms and other numbers things that make cybersecurity operate mathematics majors can retake heavily to cybersecurity. Their knowledge of mathematical modeling, statistics, and data analysis contributes to creating important encryption methods. Lastly, Finance majors play a vital role in cybersecurity by managing the financial aspects of risk and security investments.
