How should we approach the development of cyber-policy and -infrastructure given the “short arm” of predictive knowledge?
Policymakers and technologists should employ a flexible framework with regular updates and ongoing learning to effectively navigate this challenge. Given the constant evolution of cyber threats, policies have to be created with the flexibility to change as new threats and technological developments arise. To make sure that guidelines remain effective and up to date in the face of changing cyber threats, policies should be reviewed and updated on a regular basis.
