During my childhood I was always intrigued in technology and overtime I became very savvy with the newer technologies as they would be released each year. Over the course of those years I would play video games and would unfortunately have to deal with hackers that would boot my internet connection offline.  As a result of this, at the young age of 12 years old; I taught myself how to install a VPN on my network which made it more secure for those who would try to stress my IP address. There are also other details as well that involve cyber security which made this career field easy to select.  Another interest of mine about cybersecurity is the potential salary ranges there are.  Cybersecurity pays very well through companies which is exactly what I am looking for.  This career will not only provide a fortune of stability alone, but will also allow for opportunities in other business investments that I have in mind. Aside from what sparked my interest in the cybersecurity industry, I am even more excited and intrigued of what there is to learn.  Cyber has a wide variety of specializations which is another reason I chose this field.  I am particularly interested in learning more about the Red, blue and purple teams.  I feel that these jobs interest me most because of my childhood experiences of dealing with hackers and learning how to defend and protect myself from those attacks. I believe that I will likely find myself on that path in my future career in cybersecurity.  There is so much more that I like in cyber such as research and blockchain.  I think cyber is a great field to get into that will always keep you interested in the job at hand.  AI is another direction in cyber security that will certainly increase each year.
